UNPUBLISHED DOCUMENTS (1990-91)

In an age when the political climate of the country had been dangerously poisoned by news that wavers between truth, myth and slander, the Unpublished Documents series examined how photographic reality is influenced by the accompanying text. Fabricated pseudo-journalistic photographs make up here a carefully planned satire in which language and image carry the viewer along in an ambiguous interpretation of the image that is reinforced by the broader news-reporting atmosphere of the time.
