Yiorgos Depollas

In this series, Yiorgos Depollas captures solitary figures, mainly mature, working class people, in many diverse urban conditions. The people have not usually posed for the camera lens; most of them are captured in a state of recollection and are turned inwards. Their solitariness, sometimes purely incidental, takes on the form of an existential condition that is in dialogue with the atmosphere of the public space.
